Expressing Peace. Green Peace. 52.
Green is my Peace color. Purple is my fave; just today Cindy and I painted our bedroom purple. Yet green — in its infinite shades and personalities and symbols — is my most peaceful…and peace fulfilling. I love Green Peace.
By now you’re thinking of your “Peace color”. And the reasons. Good. Everyone should have a color that brings Peace.
Spring sings the return of green. Trees bud with what will be rich green leaves. Grass turns brown to green and begs barefooting. Green stems of soon-to-flower plants break through the earth. Green Peace bursts forth for me in Spring.
Summer follows and green flourishes. Green on green on green: shrubs and trees and lawns grow thicker, fuller, plusher. And more green. Green Peace swells within me and around me as I soak it in.
Anahata, the heart chakra, associates the color green. The heart chakra is our energy center from which love and joy and happiness and compassion flow. As we summon love from our lower chakras, we build the energy to share love through our higher chakras. For me, the love and joy and happiness are emotions I associate with Peace. And Peace with green.
I’d love to hear of your Peace color. I’d love to hear that Peace in your praying.
GOD of Every Color,
whatever is our favorite color
your gift is that it brings us Peace.
The color green or red or purple,
blue or pink or yellow,
tan or rust or orange
shows us Peace, reminds us Peace is
and Peace is what we are.
We are your Peace; our favorite color
shares with us the sight of Peace
that colors brilliantly
the way we love
and sing our joy
and lift our arms in thanks
for the happiness
our color brings.
We love you GOD
and your infinity of hues.
And so it is. Amen. Amen.
Enjoy Peace. Color Peace.

Expressing Peace. Transition.51.
A friend made his transition yesterday. I’ve been conditioned to think, “Rest in peace.”
This morning’s praying had me look at Peace and transition from earthly life to Spirit in new ways.
When one shifts from being human to being Spirit, Peace is all around.
Transition is from the beautiful life on earth to the supreme Peace that Spirit is. Transition is from being spiritual to being Spirit. That is truly being All There Is.
The Lord’s Prayer says “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” I read that with two meanings. GOD’s will is done on the physical plane like it is done in the spiritual realm. GOD’s will is done on earth because earth is “in heaven”. Earth and heaven are not separate places. Heaven is all around us and within us, known when we know the Peace that Spirit is. Transition is realization of the heaven that is ours to know. That is Peace.
Transition replaces the “need” for love and joy and prosperity. Love, joy, and prosperity are the Truth of Spirit. As Pure Spirit my friend exists as the flow of those graces. And other graces. And that is Peace extraordinary: to not know need for need does not exist. There is no lack, lack is not real.
And lack is felt by those remaining in this human world. The lack is that we cannot see and hear and touch the person as before. Our lack is through our senses, our mind’s reliance on the senses. Spirit flows through all that is. Aware of that, we know the Peace. The Peace dissolves the lack our mind imposes.
Peace Spirit,
our fear of what’s not of our knowing
is not real and has no reason.
What seems beyond our knowing is for us to know
by just following your guide, opening our hearts,
and receiving the awareness that Peace is real and true.
Awareness that lets us flow in your Peace
and know that nothing is beyond.
Beyond suggests another place, and Spirit
is never in another place. Spirit is of All
and always with us.
Thank you, Spirit, that to know your Peace
frees us from all need, removes the mistake of thinking lack,
and lets know your grace in full.
Our senses bring us enjoyment of here and now.
Beyond our senses and their limitations
is the joy of timeless Peace.
We thank you, GOD.
And so it is. Amen. Amen.
Enjoy Peace. Express Peace.

Expressing Peace. Halfway. 50.
I am halfway. This is the mid-point. My goal is 100 consecutive days expressing peace.
As I asked how I shall celebrate being halfway to my goal, I knew the answer. I shall express the peace of being halfway to my goal.
The glass is halfway full, and I am — and will be — blessed to keep pouring until it is totally full.
Consider a task or project or assignment or commitment you have owned. Remember the peace you felt when some milestone — mid-point or otherwise — allowed you to pause, to take a break, maybe even to rest a bit? The milestone wants you to be easy, to be at peace as you look back on what you’ve done. Wants you to know peacefully the “aha” of what’s accomplished and the “oh, yeah….” of what you might have done differently.
And the milestone wants you to look ahead. With the peaceful energy of “soon enough; I’ll get there soon enough” and “what’s to come is as good as what’s behind; thank you!”
I love the first 50. I love you for being part of my motivation. I love the fun and the feel-good I’ve taken from every step in every Expressing Peace written: receiving the “ideaspiration”, writing the thoughts, feeling the prayer, attaching a picture, clicking “Publish”. I love anticipating 51. 84. 92…..
Guiding Presence, what fun I’ve had!
Thank you for giving me the everything this has required:
Confidence. Commitment. Enjoyment. Faith.
Of those, the last is first.
Faith kept my engine fueled with certainty:
this is to do and I will do it.
Ever Present Guide,
you give this gift to everyone that we may take a task,
see its end, enjoy its midway stop,
look back with pleasure and look forward with anticipation,
and then move ahead.
And so it is. Amen. Amen.
Enjoy Peace. Keep Expressing Peace.

Expressing Peace. Jump and Shout and Peace. 49.
We may think all peace is quiet and still and calm and mellow. It doesn’t have to be. Jump and shout and peace often do come together.
The team’s winning, the delighted greeting, the boisterous memory-sharing may contain and convey rich peace.
Peace can be the sense, assurance, and certainty that everything that matters at the very moment is OK. The team has won. The traveler has come home. The memory holds fast.
Peace can express itself and we can express our peace with the gusto of celebration, with the release of emotion, and with the vigor of being connected.
Peace settles in the heart and so settles the heart. Peace lets us feel grounded by knowing we are grounded. Given this foundation, our core knows peace while our bodies may jump and shout, may embrace and cry, may laugh and knee-slap.
Peace is more than we often think it to be, for it may often be different than we presume. That’s a pretty peaceful thought: jump and shout and peace!
Peace that Jumps and Shouts,
your blessing us with Peace gives “Hallelujah!” meaning.
The rush from being who we are brings us peace
and gives us reason to jump and shout.
The thrill of doing what we want to do
puts peace in our energy
and lets us raise our hands and holler.
The joy of having all we need and all we want
reminds us that we are of Peace
and makes us glad to sing and dance our gratitude.
Your Peace flows through our movement:
jumping and shouting and clapping and hugging
running and skipping and leaping and spinning.
And so it is wonderful.
And so it is peaceful.
And so we say: Amen; Amen.
Enjoy Peace. Shout Peace.
