We are One
Living, loving God,
I have felt your presence not only with me but truly filling me today.
As I have been consciously aware of the warmth, energy, welcome pressure from my inside-out,
I have been joyed, made happy and secure.
I have felt whole.
I have felt the flow that holds me, moves me–and with my having no concern where I am going.
I know I am cradled completely in your One.
That consciousness is not constant. It does not even ebb & flow.
It clearly comes and makes me feel your presence.
And it goes away, leaving me to be in the human game: thinking & doing, talking & worrying, planning & hurrying.
Yet when that consciousness is lively in my mind and in my heart, it supersedes all time.
It flows forward and backward and I enjoy the certainty that you are always with me,
no matter where my awareness is.
God, thank you that you are always with me.
And I with you,
even when I do not know it.
And so it is. Amen.
