Expressing Peace. Journals. 31.
I don’t know the best way to put these three words together in a sentence:
Journal Opens Peace
Peace Opens Journal
Writing in my journal opens my mind to peace in my human existence. And it opens my heart to Peace that is Spirit.
The peace and Peace open my energy to putting words, thought, feelings, prayers…. in my journals.
For some writing is a chore, a challenge, even a threat. For some writing is a bore, dullsville, tedious. For some it is an effort, a struggle, unwelcome work.
William Wordsworth said, “Fill your paper with the breathings of your own heart.”
I am thankful that I’ve learned not to judge what I’m writing or the quality of my journal writing. That frees me to journal and let the journal open me to Peace and to peace. And that opens me to more journaling.
Consider a journal. Consider writing about peace and about prayer and about love and about all of the above. Consider writing about anything you want. Allow yourself to experience the peace and Peace.
Here are some interesting starting points, 2 about journaling, 4 about spiritual journaling:

Creator of All Language,
while words have only the meanings we give,
thank you for the power we let them have.
We use them to frame our thoughts,
to share our feelings,
to express opinions and to learn
those things from others.
Our prayers to you need not be words
yet the very words we speak
and write
to you bring us peace,
making clear all over again
that We Are Peace.
And so we thank you, GOD,
for tools with which to write,
to share, to save our Peace;
the tools with which to know
our earthly daily peace as well.
And so it is.
Amen. Amen.
Enjoy Peace. Journal Peace.
