Peace of Light
Light.
Peace.
Light is Peace and Peace is Light.
The Peace of God is shining in me now.
This was an affirmation at Unity Church of the Hills last Sunday. I love that it affirms what I’m exploring during these 100 Days Expressing Peace. I want to expand it this way:
The Peace of God is shining in me always.
At times I feel that shining as a sun ray reflected off a brass button. Other times it is a candle casting its soft puddle in a corner of my Self. Some instances show brilliance as a grand-opening spotlight shooting its beam into the sky. Still other times it is the brilliant sun filling every space with morning brightness.
The Peace is always shining. It can only be shining for it is constant, eternal Light. Darkness is the absence of light. As GOD is Omnipresence, there can be no absence. There can be no darkness.
The Peace of God is shining in me always.
Shining Spirit,
the Light you are shines in me,
shines through me,
shines from me for One
for All.
Whether gentle as a firefly
or brilliant as a thousand suns,
your Light for me is Peace.
There is no darkness, no shadow.
I know and love the peace of seeing You
as everything I see.
I know and love the peace of shining
from the inside out
your Presence
as everything I AM.
Shining in me. Always.
And so it is.
Amen. Amen.
