Five Steps to Spiritual Growth

walkingSometimes we know we’re on a spiritual journey. Sometimes we don’t.

Sometimes we know exactly where we are spiritually; it feels good. Sometimes we think we are just lost; it feels bad.

Here are 5 steps to  strengthen your spiritual well-being. Take them one at a time or all at once. Keep in mind that reaching one destination lets you set the next. Your journey is forever.

Set Your Course. Commit a decided amount of time and energy to your spiritual self.

Trust Your Journey. Know faithfully that the journey takes you where(ever) it shall. That will be good.

Embrace Your Energy. Each step will bring you physical, mental and spiritual energies. Embrace them. Enjoy them.

Pave Your Way with Prayer. Everything you do, with Spirit in your heart-consciousness, is a prayer.

Share Your Thanks. The more gratitude we know, the more reasons for gratitude we receive.

Sweet Spirit,
I walk my path unafraid. I feel and love your guidance.
I see and follow your way.
I enjoy the turns and hills I pass
excited by what I am yet to see.
Each footfall says I love you
and each says you love me.
Reason enough to walk on.
Thank you, Spirit.
